Body Symphony

An experimental dance film, exploring the relationship between dancer and music.

Dancers are usually bound to the music to which they dance. In this experimental short film, dancers freestyle, and a soundtrack is created based off of their movements, reversing the usual power dynamic between dancers and their music and giving the dancers ultimate creative control. Rather than having to follow their music, the dancers become the leaders.
